The Result of the New Sand Regeneration Process
GVF Impianti realize a plants fully automated for the reclamation of sands produced by an inorganic process.
The process is able to remove from the exhausted sand, deriving from green forming systems or silicate-based, allowing the foundry to recover and reuse it in its production cycle with the same characteristics as virgin sand.
Thanks to this process, at the end of the treatment, the result is a product with a quality equal or higher than virgin sand. Using the sand regenerated by the GVF Impianti plant, in fact, increases the permeability that allows to reduce the casting defects and the binder consumption is reduced.

FINE PARTICLES REMOVAL
The fine particles generated during the foundry sand processing cycle are removed thanks to the “tailor-made” sand reclamation process.
GRAIN ROUNDNESS
The grains’ surface becomes more rounded requiring a lower quantity of binders.
LACK OF IMPURITY
Through the reclamation process the impurities inside the used sand are removed.
